It assists refugees, migrants, internally displaced persons, returnees, victims of other situations of violence and conflict, as well as host communities through comprehensive humanitarian responses focused on protection and human rights. In addition, DRC assists persons of concern to achieve durable solutions. DRC has five main areas of intervention: Protection, Shelter and Settlements, Economic Recovery, Humanitarian Demining and Peacebuilding, and Camp Coordination\/Camp Management. Encuentros is a Peruvian organization that provides assistance and protection to refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in vulnerable situations. The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organization that supports persons forced to flee. We protect displaced individuals and support them as they build a new future. We began our efforts after World War II. Today, we work in both new and protracted crises in 40 countries. Around 15,000 humanitarian workers work with NRC. In Latin America, NRC operates in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela.<\/p>

We specialize in six areas: legal assistance, protection from violence, education, housing, food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.<\/p>

We advocate for persons forced to flee, promoting and defending the rights and dignity of displaced persons in local communities, with national governments, and at the international level.<\/p>

NRC\u2019s Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre in Geneva is a global leader in monitoring, reporting, and advocating for displaced persons within their own countries. We also work with partners worldwide through NORCAP, our global provider of humanitarian expertise, development, and peacebuilding. The Observatory of Social Investigations at the Border (ODISEF) is a Venezuelan non-profit civil association dedicated to promoting, researching, and defending economic, social, cultural, and environmental rights in Venezuela, with a special focus on the dynamics of the Colombian-Venezuelan border. Through rigorous research, the development of innovative projects, strategic advocacy in public policies, and the training of social leaders, ODISEF works in nine states of the country to build a more just, equitable, inclusive, supportive, and respectful society of human dignity, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the nation. The Scalabrinian Mission is part of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo Scalabrinians who have been present in 27 countries for 130 years.
In Ecuador, the Scalabrinian Mission has been present for 32 years, working with migrants, refugees, displaced persons, returnees and members of the local community in vulnerable conditions.
Since its performance in the years of work with the people of interest, its actions are developed from four programs of attention, being them:
1\u00b0 Promoci\u00f3n Humana – humanitarian assistance work from reception spaces, delivery of cash transfers, support with humanitarian transport from the border region, assistance from community kitchens, psychosocial and legal assistance.
2\u00b0 Children and Youth – from a response with a focus on protection from the family, community and student environment. Providing a safe community space for group participation with a playful and formative methodology that strengthens artistic, cultural and participatory expressions. At the same time provide a family accompaniment from a proposal of commitment to protection and access to rights.
3\u00b0 Livelihoods – from the social and solidarity economy proposal, which strengthens the social and economic integration of the people of interest together with the community, based on the culture of self-saving, technical training, support for entrepreneurial initiatives and organizational strengthening.
4\u00b0 Advocacy and Women – work based on social action, from the articulation with local, provincial and national governments to promote access to rights of people of interest. The work with women starts from the training proposal for the exercise of rights, life skills, self-management, GBV prevention and community transformation.

The commitment of JRS is to work for the well-being and hope of refugees. We run pastoral care and psychosocial support programs in detention centers and refugee camps and provide humanitarian aid in emergency displacement situations. Our work focuses on implementing comprehensive human development programs and projects aimed at the most remote families in Peru, living in poverty and vulnerability. We seek to ensure these families are the protagonists of their own development, not passive recipients of assistance programs. Caritas responds to humanitarian crises such as natural disasters, conflicts, and the consequences of climate change.
