The Corporación Colectiva Justicia Mujer is the first interdisciplinary law firm of feminist lawyers and professionals specializing in justice, gender, and women’s rights, established in the city of Medellín, Colombia. As a private, autonomous, and non-profit organization, the organization’s goal is to claim, promote, and defend human rights and interest of women from a feminist perspective, through legal, political, and social actions that transform the paradigms of the relationship between justice and gender. As part of its actions, the organization also assists persons of concerns in need of humanitarian aid. The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organization that supports persons forced to flee. We protect displaced individuals and support them as they build a new future. We began our efforts after World War II. Today, we work in both new and protracted crises in 40 countries. Around 15,000 humanitarian workers work with NRC. In Latin America, NRC operates in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela.
We specialize in six areas: legal assistance, protection from violence, education, housing, food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.
We advocate for persons forced to flee, promoting and defending the rights and dignity of displaced persons in local communities, with national governments, and at the international level.
NRC’s Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre in Geneva is a global leader in monitoring, reporting, and advocating for displaced persons within their own countries. We also work with partners worldwide through NORCAP, our global provider of humanitarian expertise, development, and peacebuilding. NORCAP collaborates with local, national, and international partners to find sustainable solutions to meet the needs of people at risk.
